The Trains: BNSF Manifests
For BNSF Wichita Falls/Red River Sub Manifest Freights, there is a large variety of freight cars that are involved in the makeup of these trains. Without very specific research we can assume a few things about “generic” freight cars such as a wide variety of boxcars, tank cars, mill gons, flat cars, hoppers, covered hoppers, and so forth.
We can be somewhat more specific with regards to “tendancies” of cars such as centerbeam flat cars, corn syrup cars, and refrigerated boxcars that were both common and also had large local presence. There are some very specific cars that also set the era and locale, such as carbon black hoppers and the waning bit of helium traffic. But overall, some very generic “1999-era” freight cars will make up the manifest trains.
For other BNSF Subdivisions including the Texas sub in Saginaw and the various Amarillo lines, the trains will be largely similar. Perhaps those trains will entertain more “Santa Fe-centric” cars, especially those on the transcon and the Texas sub.
